As we’re stuck indoors due to the Coronavirus pandemic, I thought now would be the ideal time to share my favourite things about my recent adventures in Costa Rica. After all, we need a bit of escapism now, more than ever!
You’ve undoubtedly seen iconic images of the colourful fishing villages of the Italian Cinque Terre splashed across social media of late. It has become a bucket-list destination for many and it is not hard to see why.
Being up in the hills feels like a little bit of well-deserved “me time”, far away from the digital world of emails, Facebook and phones. It is a chance to escape it all and just enjoy spending time with the people I care about most.
With so many markets to choose from – with antiques, flowers, vintage goods, crafts, food, clothes and more – it was hard to choose which ones to squeeze into our day before our coach departed for our return to South Wales. We settled on two of the well known markets, Camden and Spitalfields, with a trip to Brick Lane thrown in for good measure.
